Getting around the airport

Two terminals

Naples International Airport is located 6 km northeast of the city centre. The airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, which are within walking distance of each other. A free shuttle bus also connects the terminals.

  • Terminal 1 is for passengers of regular airlines. The Arrivals area is at the south end of the terminal, with customs, baggage claim, and the ticket kiosk for the Curreri bus. In the centre of the terminal are check-in, security control, and gate access. The bus terminal is across from this terminal.
  • Terminal 2 is for passengers of charter airlines.

Getting into the city

Taxi or Bus


The taxi stand is located in front of the arrivals concourse. Fixed rates are in use for main destinations within the city limits of Naples Airport to the main city destinations such as City Center, Molo beverello, Mergellina. Cost:

  • to Central Station, Historical Centre, Foria, around EUR 16-20
  • to Piazza Municipio, Piazza del Plebiscito, around EUR 19-25
  • to Vomero, San Ferdinando, around EUR 23-25
